Understanding the research context
Neuroscience research can move between molecular signals, cellular observations and behavioral measurements. These are different kinds of evidence. A claim supported at one level does not automatically establish the same conclusion at another.
When comparing Semax studies, identify whether a conclusion follows directly from a measurement or is proposed as an interpretation. Reproducibility also depends on the preparation and experimental conditions, which should remain visible in a research summary.
What to record
- The material name and specification
- The model, assay and comparison condition
- The distinction between measured data and proposed explanation
Connect the topic to the material
Keep the molecular identity, assay context and source of analytical information together. A product name or research category does not establish batch quality. Where catalogue information is incomplete, resolve the specification before selecting a material.
